BEEHIVE SPONSORSHIP + EDUCATION

Beehive Sponsorship is a great way to help provide pollinator protection.
MOB works to build pollinator security by;
- Placing hives on biodiverse land.
- Managing bees with an integrated pest management strategy to tackle colony collapse.
- Promoting native pollinator protection as well as honey bee security.
If you can't sponsor this year, but want to help, here are some ways to do so.
- Create pollinator habitat - plant shrubs, herbs and flowers that have a range of colour, shape and size. Not all pollinators like the same plant but all need plants to survive.
- Preserve patches of bare soil, leaf litter, and decaying landscapes for both ground and tunnel nesting pollinators.
- Make your own bee hotel for cavity dwellers like mason, leaf cutters, and masked species.
